Synopsis: The drama series follows the life of Ieyasu Tokugawa, a historical figure who lived from January 31, 1543 to June 1, 1616. As a young boy, Ieyasu, then known as Takechiyo, was born into a poor and powerless daimyo family. Tragically, he lost his father during a war and was raised in isolation from his mother. Uncertain of his future, Takechiyo’s life takes a dramatic turn when he meets the young Oda Nobunaga.
