In the twilight years of Eastern Jin, Liu Yu usurps the throne to become the founding emperor of the Liu Song dynasty. Consort Ye’s newborn son is the only royalty to survive the bloody purge, and is adopted by the Imperial Secretariat Fan Jian. At the age of eighteen, Fan Xian’s impending political marriage with a princess makes him extremely popular among the ambitious princes, though he carefully avoids joining any of the factions.

Fan Xian is lauded for his loyalty to the emperor during two successive rebellions, though later discovers he is the biological son of the tyrannical ruler, and that Liu Yu was the one that sent assassins to kill his mother. For revenge as well as the peace of the kingdom, Fan Xian engages in a deadly political struggle with the emperor, and eventually succeeds in forcing Liu Yu to abdicate.

  1. This Synopsis says fan Xian succeeded in forcing Liu yu to abdicate but none of that happened…. Shéy una dey wyn me ni, abi which episode n season dat abdication happen ???

  2. Do you really think there is season 2, it’s just a scam, 2 years has passed are we still waiting for season 2, we are only lying to ourselves

  3. It’s sad knowing up to this moment they’ve not release season 2 ??? it’s a total waste of time producing season 1 when you know season 2 won’t be published on time I’m fucking tired of waiting it’s sad because this movie was the beat movie so far I’ve ever watch ????

    1. The episodes / sub is (likely) taken from Youtube which is way faster.
So people can find subbed episodes up 2 and incl ep 39 there. Six subbed episodes has been released each week for a while (2 on each of mond.-wed), so we will likely get ep 40-45 (or all, given ep 46 being the alst ep of season 1) subbed there in the coming week.
