Synopsis: “The Great Show” follows the story of Wie Dae-Han, a former lawmaker with a materialistic approach to politics. His ambition to be elected once again drives him to carry out a grand plan. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when an 18-year-old girl named Da-Jung reveals that she is his long-lost daughter. Da-Jung’s mother, who raised her and her three siblings alone, passed away in a hit-and-run accident. Now, Da-Jung is the sole caretaker of her younger siblings. Against all odds, Wie Dae-Han takes in Da-Jung and her siblings and strives to become a lawmaker through his “Great Show” campaign. Directed by Shin Yong Hwi, this drama delves into the challenges and sacrifices of a man’s journey towards power and redemption.
