Synopsis:

The fate of these people become twisted due to “hwanhonsool” (the soul of the dead return to the living).

In the country of Daeho, Jang Wook comes from the noble Jang family. He holds an unpleasant secret about his birth, which people all around the country talk about. He’s a troublemaker. Jang Wook happens to meet Deok Yi. She is an elite warrior, but her soul is trapped in a physically weak body. She becomes Jang Wook’s servant, but she also secretly teaches him how to fight.

Seo Yool comes from the noble Seo family. He seems perfect with good appearance, intelligence, and strong martial arts skills. Go Won is the crown prince of Daeho. He hopes to become a generous king.

  37. Only problem with this series is, its so awesome, everything else that’s currently airing seems poor, except for Extraordinary Attorney Woo, but that’s mainly down Park Eun Bin performance more than anything.

I honestly use dramacool because they release their Korean series faster but it’s not the same for this series like why are u releasing only two episodes every week so annoying just release more than two episodes weekly or release everything at this point I’d just wait till the whole episodes are released cause I’m tired of feeling this way

    1. If you have a problem with the way it’s being released, go watch it somewhere else. Like 2 episodes are released every week and they can’t do anything about it, so if you have a problem keep it to yourself!

    2. You should have patience then they exactly release episode fastly. You should know that the drama is still ongoing they only post 2 episodes per week every saturday and sunday evening. don’t be too dumb then.

    3. dude dramacool just upload the episodes with english subtitles when the episode is officially aired. And you talking about the 2 ep per week? Then let me enlighten you that dramacool does not air them on different tv chanels on South Korea. They just upload them with subs but if the broadcast station do not air more than 2 episodes in a week then how they’ll get the ep to put sub. First you have to know that how the drama officially airs then complain.

  113. This is I mean the best script, best actors best story best plot. Never ever Ihave seen such an amazing storyline with wonderful actors. I am watching now for 2 years BL, before I watched KDrama romance every story Iam a fan imida.
    But this is s.th. Special, like u can maybe compare it a little bit with Mr. Queen … also a histiry drama. But this is amazing . I love it, period drama costume drama…but this is the best of 2022.

    2. The way Mudoek was interrogating YUL was hilarious….this drama has got me on my toes . Its my favorite for now ..even though legends like EMPRESS KI, 100 DAYS MY PRINCE, MR QUEEN , MOONLOVERS, THE SCHOLAR WHO WALKS IN THE NIGHT remains in our hearts…….

  143. Goodness, I watched the first two episodes On Netflix and I almost wanted to lose it when I realized I would have to wait for the next episode to come out. Damn!!!, Just the perfect movie have been waiting for this whole year

    1. hello Becky you can see Alchemy Of Souls at Netflix too. Netflix has more episodes. Netflix has ep 3 and ep 4 and 5 .
      it comes out every sat and sun.
