Synopsis: During the height of the Liao dynasty in the late 10th century, Prime Minister Xiao Si Wen and Princess Yan have three daughters. The youngest, Xiao Chao, is their favorite. Despite her heart belonging to military commander Han De Rang, she is married to Liao Emperor Jin Zhong as per her parents’ arrangement. As the Emperor’s queen, she becomes a strong defender of the Liao empire by leading a 10,000-strong cavalry and supporting civil administration.
